Whim is now available through ePassi. You can pay for a Whim subscription with your ePassi balance.
Whim provides you with the best way to commute between home and work using your ePassi balance. Your commuting benefit includes public transportation, but you can, of course, use other Whim services also by adding your own payment card details to your Whim profile.
Steps to activate:
- Open the ePassi app, search Whim and pay with ePassi. Save the payment confirmation code, as you will need it later.
- Download the Whim app. Remember to fill in your profile and add payment method information.
- Send a message to Whim’s customer service through the Whim app:
- Indicate that you are an ePassi customer.
- Add the ePassi payment confirmation code.
- Indicate the subscription plan.
- Indicate the date when you wish to activate Whim (please note that the earliest possible date is 1.2.2019).
Your order will be processed by 1.2.2019. Please note that it is not possible to pause the monthly subscription with the ePassi commuting benefit. If you do not cancel the subscription before the renewal date, the monthly subscription will renew automatically after the ePassi commuting benefit expires.

When the subscription period ends, the chosen subscription will continue until cancelled. The subscription fee, in accordance with the specific subscription you have, will be charged from your payment card on a monthly basis. Please note that the last month of the subscription period might be partly paid with ePassi balance if there is any unused amount.

Why does the internal ticket subscription cost 55e/month through ePassi rather than 49e/month through the Whim app?
49e/month is an introductory offer and this package will soon be no longer available. New pricing is based on HSL zone reform.
What if there is still some unused balance after the commuting benefit period ends?
When the benefit period is over Whim will automatically switch to a monthly subscription. For example, you paid €200 ePassi credit and chose Whim internal tickets, after 3 months you have used €165, the 4th month you will use the €35 ePassi credit and will be charged the remaining €20 from the payment card provided in Whim (so that month still costs €55). The month after you will be charged in full at the normal rates (€49 at the moment).

If I do not use Whim for the subscription period I have paid, can I get the unused period refunded to my ePassi balance?
The ePassi balance will not be refunded, if the service is terminated during an ongoing subscription period.
My workplace does not have the ePassi commuting benefit in use. How can I get it activated?
