Overview
Here we explain the key features of the Whim experience, from downloading the app to setting up a Whim account.
Downloading Whim
To access the application on your device, you need to download it from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) and search for "Whim - travel smarter" (Fig. 1 and 2).

Setting up an Account
After installing and opening the app, you need to input your phone number (Fig. 3) and wait for the verification code to be sent to your device via text message (Fig. 4).

Enter the verification code to the field provided (Fig. 4) and press blue arrow on the right hand side of the screen. You have now created your account and have access to the Whim application.
Next, in order to enjoy the full Whim experience, you must give Whim permission to access your Location* and enable Notifications.
*Note: Under Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Whim, one may select "While Using the App" or "Always".

Select the country where you will be using Whim (Fig. 6).
After this you can browse through the season tickets, serial tickets and bundles and choose a subscription that you want by tapping "Change" next to Plan. You can also go back to the country selection by tapping "Change" Location or to continue to the app just tap "Start using Whim" (Fig. 7).

Creating a Whim User Profile
We encourage you to also complete your User profile (Fig. 9) and provide valid Payment method (i.e., credit card) details (Fig. 10) in order to get the most out of Whim. You can do this easily by going to your Whim app profile view and selecting "Profile and payments" (Fig. 8).

Navigating the Whim App
The app will present you with a short tutorial showing you around the new Whim app Home View and its features.

Home View - Map
The Home View (Fig. 11) shows a map view with your nearby public transportation and micro mobility stations (Fig. 12). By tapping these stations, you can review detailed information such as next departures and easily purchase a ticket, if required.

Home View - Active Tickets
You can view all of your active tickets in the Home View (Fig. 13). If you have more than one ticket, you can swipe left and right to view these in the ticket view or tap “See all” to open a list showing all of your active tickets. In this view you can also see your other bookings, such as car rental bookings.

Home View - Transport Methods
You can access your preferred transport modes through the Home View “Travel by” section. Simply tap the mode you want to use and proceed to purchase a ticket, order a taxi or to book a rental car (Fig. 14). You can display available transport methods either in a list or a grid by tapping the small list and grid symbols at the top right corner of the “Travel by” section.

Home View - Journey Planner
You can access the Journey planner by tapping “Where to?” button or your saved Favourite destinations in the Home View (Fig. 15). More tips on how to plan your trips can be found here.

Profile View
You can access your Whim user profile by tapping the Profile symbol at the top left corner of the Home View (Fig. 16). More information about navigating through the Profile View can be found here.
