Overview
With Whim, you can get access to nearMe.’s Shared Shuttle in Tokyo (Chūō-ku, Chiyoda-ku, Koto-ku, Minato-ku). nearMe.’s Shared Shuttle is a shared taxi and may be shared by other passengers.

How to Book a nearMe. Shared Shuttle Using Whim
Before booking nearMe. shared shuttle, you will need to register to Whim, complete your profile and add your payment method.
Depending on the device you are using, you can book the vehicle by:
- On iOS, select "Shared Shuttle" from "Transportation" on the home screen.
- On Android, select "Taxi" from "Travel by" and proceed to the screen for specifying the departure/ arrival point and desired time.

Specify the departure and arrival points. You can enter the address or select the boarding location from the map. If you get an error, make sure you have entered the address, not the building name. You can also edit the pick-up address or choose your exact location from the map.
The target area of the nearMe. Shuttle is the entire area of Chuo-ku, Chiyoda-ku, Koto-ku, and Minato-ku, Tokyo.

You can pre-book the trip for the future, set a pick-up date and time. NearMe.'s Shared Shuttle can be request 30 days in advance to the day before the ride. From the Pre-booking option view, you can also add the number of passengers and luggage. Choose the number of passengers (max. 4) and the number of the pieces of luggage (max. 2 per passenger).
If the vehicle dispatch is not successful, please change the time and request again. The new pick up time will be confirmed once a matching vehicle has been found. Be prepared to share the ride with other passengers as the shuttle is carpooled and other passengers may be on board.

You will see the estimated price of the ride and you will proceed to request a ride. Confirm the prebook. By doing that, you also accept nearMe.’s Terms and Conditions.

Once you have requested the ride, you will see the ride in the Tickets view as pending. Your reservation will be accepted before the pick-up time.
- You will receive an email with details about your upcoming booking.
- The pick-up time and vehicle will be confirmed before pick-up.
Check Whim for updates on your upcoming ride. You can see your latest pick-up information in Whim and will be notified when your shuttle arrives at the pick-up location. You will see the trip summary and final price once the ride ends. The receipt of your ride will be sent to the email you have added to your Whim account.

How to cancel your reservation
You may cancel your booking for free before the booking has been confirmed by nearMe through the App.
You may cancel the request by clicking the “Cancel” button. Please wait until you receive the green message saying, “Booking was canceled.”

Once you tap on the cancel taxi button, the cancellation process will immediately start. You will receive confirmation that the booking has been successfully cancelled.
You can also cancel the booking anytime before boarding the shuttle. Depending on the timing of cancellation, a cancellation fee will be charged as follows.
- Up to 1 day before boarding time: Free
- Up to 3 hours before boarding time: 20%
- Up to 1 hour before boarding time: 50%
- After that: 100%

Can I cancel or change the booking?
You can cancel the booking anytime before boarding the nearMe. Shared Shuttle. There is no cancellation fee until the reservation is confirmed on the app. Please cancel through the App by tapping the cancel button on your ticket. Depending on the timing of cancellation, a cancellation fee will be charged as follows.
- Up to 1 day before boarding time: Free
- Up to 3 hours before boarding time: 20%
- Up to 1 hour before boarding time: 50%
- After that: 100%
What is the maximum number of passengers per Taxi/shuttle ride?
You can book max. 4 passengers per ride. Since the shuttle is carpooling, it coordinates the ride with other users on the system.
How many pieces of luggage can I carry?
A passenger is allowed 2 pieces of luggage per trip.
What if the Vehicle dispatch request is not established?
The shuttle has a limited number of vehicles. Depending on the date and time of the vehicle allocation request, the number of people and the number of luggage, vehicle allocation matching may not be established. In that case, please try changing the time and number of people.
